Anex e/type stroller

anex-e-type-stroller

First thing I ever picked for my baby was the stroller. I don't know why, but ever since I found out that I got pregnant, it was the first thing I was obsessing about and let me tell you it took me a while to decide!

One thing I knew for sure was that it had to be beige or a neutral color and that it had to be a smooth ride for the baby.

I did my research and I discovered Anex, a brand with 10 years experience on the market and incredible quality. Of course, the beautiful designs mattered! I struggled to pick from two of their designs: m/type and e/type. They both looked really beautiful and they both had neutral colors to pick from. The main differences were: e/type came in leatherette and m/type in fabric, the wheels were a bit different and the shape of the carrycot differed slightly. At the end of the day, the thing that really made me pick e/type, as they were both great options, was the color and the fact that it came in eco leather so I went for e/type in shade “soul". But let me tell you more about why I picked Anex in the first place!

First of all, the stroller comes with these main items: the stroller frame with wheels, a carrycot and a seat unit. And, of course, a bunch of accessories, but I will get to that.

Now, I'm sure you've heard of parents, usually dads, struggling to assemble strollers and spending hours to do that. Well, not with Anex! The frame comes already assembled. All you need to do is attach the wheels with the 1 click system.

The frame is foldable which I think is great for those of you who will also purchase a car seat as you'll need to fold the frame to put it in the trunk and take the car seat with you in the car. That also comes in handy if you want to travel by plane and check the frame while keeping the car seat with you on the plane.

The carrycot and the seat unit are easily attachable to the frame as you just have to connect to the adapters on both sides by clicking them into place. To dettach, there's a memory system that will keep the buttons pressed until you pull up the cot. It's easy and, most importantly, it's a one person job!

I know everybody's using the carrycot for the first 6 months or so, but it's useful to know that the seat unit has the ability to lower the backrest in order to adjust its position to newborns!

As I said, I was very keen on the stroller being a very smooth ride for the baby and this seemed perfect: the wheels have a triple shock absorption system. The shock absorbers work simultaneously on the front wheels, the rear wheels and the frame! The wheels also have a 360-degree turning system to make it easier to overcome obstacles.

Now, on to accessories! The stroller frame comes with a basket with a capacity of 5kg and can be used in a completely open mode or zipped. In addition to that, you get a backpack in the same shade as the stroller that you can carry on your back or you can attach to the handle of the stroller. The carrycot comes, of course, with a craddle and a mattress, a hood and footcover, but also a raincover and a mosquito net! The seat unit comes with a footcover as well in the shade of the stroller.

There's also some other details that seemed super interesting to me such as the complex air circulation system of the bottom, the mattress and the hood of the cot, in the footrest and the hood of the seat unit!

Needless to say, at the end of the day I felt like I made the best decision when picking the Anex e/type! They do have some other interesting strollers, including their new Air-Z with the speedy unfolding for when your baby is not a newborn anymore so check them out and let me know your favorite one!
