The perfect Roman holiday happened October 2021. At Rome Cavalieri. And it was so perfect that it almost feels like a dream!
Whenever you think of Rome, you think of tiny, old hotels with no heating, no air conditioning and mediocre breakfast. But here, my mind was blown!
Rome Cavalieri, A Waldorf Astoria hotel, is nothing like what you’d imagine. It has 15 acres or park, 3 outdoor pools and 2 tennis courts, so definitely not small! A 3-star Michelin restaurant, the only in Rome, so expect your meals to be queen worthy and a luxury spa to relax after a day of wandering the streets of Rome.
But my favorite, my ABSOLUTE favorite, was the amazing rooftop lounge with the best view of Rome
Rome Cavalieri is located moments away from the Vatican, hence the amazing view of St. Peter’s Dome from Rome’s highest hilltop!
The luxurious interiors offer a feeling of serene haven, worlds away from the hustle and bustle of Rome. The lobby is filled with museum-worthy painting and classic style furniture that makes you feel like you’re a guest of a palace.
From the serene mornings by the pool to the lush breakfast by the pool and to the beautiful sunsets I’ve experienced at the rooftop lounge, Rome Cavalieri managed to imprint on me and make Rome feel like a completely different city.
Needless to say, the room was one of the most elegant I’ve ever seen in a hotel so far. A truly 5 star experience, a luxurious haven that I called “home” for the duration of my stay in Rome. The balcony has a beautiful view over the eternal city and you can choose to have your breakfast served in the privacy of your suite, right on the balcony.
For a true Roman Holiday that you’ll most definitely never forget, Rome Cavalieri is the place to go to!
